Buffalo is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Buffalo follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The most amazing food. Kind staff/owners, reasonable prices. Get a drink, meal, and dessert. Everything you can possibly pack into your stomach.

Hidden inside a web of office buildings at 290 Main St, this is the kind of place you could easily walk past—unless you’re one of the regulars. There’s a steady flow of people who clearly know exactly where they’re going. Step inside and it feels instantly local. Fresh eggs, bacon, sausage sizzling, simple breakfast done right. I waited until I tried their classic breakfast—eggs, sausage, toast, and coffee. After a long trip from the West Coast, it was exactly the kind of fresh, homemade meal I was hoping for. What really makes this place stand out is the people. Everyone seems to know each other, and even as a first-time visitor, you’re welcomed in. I had the chance to meet the owner, who shared that she inherited the shop from her father. She even pointed out small details—like a salt and pepper set passed down from the previous generation—that quietly carry the history of the place. They’re not standing still either. Downstairs, they’re expanding into catering and culinary training, even transforming an old bank vault into part of their new kitchen space. It says a lot about their mindset: stay rooted, but keep building. Their philosophy is simple—serve fresh food, make a s

Everything about Pete’s Place is AMAZING! My co worker convinced me to go get lunch and I got the chicken Cesar salad wrap. Wow! I could eat this meal all day, every day! The owner was so friendly and asked me if I was new because she says she knows all her customers. I mean how amazing is that?! I didn’t get a picture of my food because I literally inhaled it… but the coffee I got is phenomenal ❤️

Really good little lunch spot. The Buffalo chicken burrito is like a Mighty Taco buffito on steroids. It’s delicious and incredibly filling. The chips and salsa on the side were whatever, basically the stuff you get from Tops. Staff was nice. Seating was a little cramped but it’s not really a sit-down kind of place anyways. Well worth a lunch stop.

The café has a cozy, intimate vibe with just a few tables, making it perfect for a quick bite. The food and service were excellent—thank you, Sam! The seafood chowder reminded me of Rhode Island’s finest clam chowder. We also tried the Spicy Tuna Melt, which was a unique and delicious surprise.
